Principal - Jasmine Boone

Kristina Winters

Jasmine Boone first started in the world of leadership writing operating manuals and using them to train and teach others in more effective procedures. From there, she moved on to proposal management and executive assistance, where she directed and coordinated meetings with city officials, and the heads of large and small companies to assess their needs. This helped her to develop proposals and contracts that fit their budgets and parameters, and she had success leading and training several teams of staff to follow through on these.

After Jasmine graduated from Arizona State University with her Bachelor’s and Master’s in English, she wanted to share her love of teaching with the world of education. Jasmine began working for AMS nearly seven years ago because she truly believed in their vision and mission. She spent four years at Desert Sky, has helped turn Peoria Advanced around as an Instructional Coach, and worked at various campuses as a Resident Principal to truly get a full AMS experience. She is excited to continue her journey as a Firebird and help the Camelback campus thrive.

Assistant Principal - Patrick
It is with tons of excitement that I write this letter of introduction to you as the Assistant Principal of Academies of Math and Science Camelback for the 2nd year. I am honored to have the opportunity to help lead a school with an amazing group of staff members and a community of persevering scholars.

Before entering the education field, I earned my Bachelor’s of Applied Science, minoring in Child and Family Social Services, from Washington State University. From there, I worked at a therapeutic trauma center as a lead kindergarten teacher and agency developmental tester, developing students’ social emotional competence in order to improve their academic outcomes. I then moved on to become the family support specialist supervisor for Auburn School District’s Head Start program.

I have been with the AMS network at the Desert Sky campus as a lead second grade teacher for five years. It is my second year on the Camelback team with all of the amazing staff and students on this campus. In my free time, I love reading books, traveling, videography, trying new restaurants, and spending time with family, friends, and my dog.
